Usage

Do

  • Use primary on white or cream.
  • Use reverse on ink or dark tinted photography.
  • Give community partner marks equal or greater weight.
  • Keep clear space equal to the lowercase “o”.

Never

  • Retype, stretch, skew or add effects.
  • Use the retired tracked, all-caps lockup.
  • Separate the terracotta full stop from Goods.
  • Imitate Aboriginal artwork or visual motifs.

Minimum size

Use the full grounded lockup above 160px digital or 42mm print. Below 160px, remove the rail if necessary. Below 96px, use Goods. alone and provide “Goods on Country” as accessible text.

PrimaryOutlineGold · ink textSage · ink textTeal · white text

White text on terracotta and teal; ink text on gold and sage. Never white on gold or sage — it fails contrast.

Sub-themes

Two deliberate departures exist and are the only ones: the deep-green skin on the community-narrative surfaces, and the elevation greys on dark funder pages. Anything else off this palette is drift — fix it to a token.

How we show up

Photography

  • Real photos, never illustrations, for anything photographable.
  • Every face and name is consent-cleared before it ships; photos of people carry the storyteller's permission.
  • Country, hands and the work carry the story: builds, deliveries, the plant.
  • Drawn line illustrations (terracotta on cream) are for process and concepts only, never in place of a real photo.

Video

  • Background video: silent, autoplaying, desktop + mobile cuts with a poster frame.
  • Produced edits with sound are click-to-play with controls, never autoplay.
  • Which film plays where is picked centrally (canon slots), so a cleared cut updates every surface at once.

The letter

The monthly letter at /news assembles only already-cleared, already-public artifacts — one face, one voice, one place. The email version is that page sent, so the two can never diverge. Earth-tone email master; same palette as this page.

Field notes & case studies

Long-form writing lives as field notes (trip stories, community-first) and case studies (how a proven run happened). Voice: warm, grounded, community-first; designed in community, led by community; ownership is a pathway, never claimed complete; the health chain is the why, never a claimed outcome.

Writing about the work? Everything sendable lives on the media page.
